How to use

As detailed in the operator’s manual, the process for cleaning with the

Cimex X46 is:

1. Transport the machine to the bottom of the escalator.
2. Unwind the power cord and plug it into an outlet.
3. Ensure the escalator is moving away from the machine; reverse its direction if necessary.
4. Position the machine so its rest bar sits on the non-moving comb of the escalator.
5. Switch on the vacuum motor, followed by the brush motor. The machine will then operate hands-free.
6. Overlap passes: The X46 cleans only a portion of the escalator’s width at a time. After one full pass, manually move the machine to the side to clean the next section, overlapping the previous path.
